About the Artist

Freeman received her MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City (2016). Her paintings have been featured in exhibitions around New York, San Francisco, and the Hudson Valley including select group shows at Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, Thierry Goldberg Gallery in NYC, Art Austerlitz, and The Wassaic Project. She is the recipient of the 2022 Nicholas Buhalis Award associated with the Radius 50 exhibition at Woodstock Artists Association and Museum. Ruth currently works with COUNTY Gallery in Palm Beach, Florida and Uprise Gallery in New York.
