Gary Paller was born in Los Angeles in 1953.
Combining organic shapes with balanced colors, Paller creates layered abstractions with an undeniable sense of movement and rhythm. Exploring notions of transparency and overlapping, he uncovers new geometric forms to produce compositions with an unassuming sense of complexity. Paller received his BA and MFA degrees at UCLA, studying with such noted artists as William Brice, Lee Mullican, Ed Moses and Charles Garabedian, and for decades has exhibited his works in many galleries and museums throughout Europe and the United States.
