Collection: Alexander Oleksyn

Employing a focused and methodical line, Alexander Oleksyn creates works that are determined by the size of the brush, the characteristics of the paint, as well as the shape and texture of the surface on which they are made. This matter-of-fact approach allows for compositions that are self-evident yet allude beyond themselves. Oleksyn received his BFA from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University and his MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in 2012. He has exhibited in the United States, Europe and Asia and lives and works in New York City.
