Lisa Hamilton investigates the intersection of linear structure and organic form through the language of painted abstraction. The exploration of spatial perception through color and visual structures is an ongoing theme in Lisa's work, which takes the form of painting and sculpture. Lisa received her BFA degree from Cooper Union and her MFA from Hunter College. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at galleries and museums and reviewed in Art in America, The Brooklyn Rail, and the New York Times.
