Karli Henneman is a Los Angeles based artist whose serene exploration of light and shadow investigates the ambiguous markings of urban spaces. Her hard-edge painting technique offers a meditative experience through the delicate interplay of simple geometric forms. Using a neutral palette with subtle variations of color and tone, she creates works of both equal opposition and volume. The clean lines and tonal shifts spark a reaction where brutalist form meets elegant shadow. Henneman received her BFA from Parson the New School for Design In New York and continued her graduated studies in Art Therapy at NYU. She has exhibited her work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City.
