Collection: Erik Minter
Erik Minter’s work incorporates vibrant color combinations with sky-tone gradients that weave between graphic shapes and fluid splashes. Combining abstraction with surreal figuration, he searches to capture the emotion of an experience, perhaps once had or dreamt. His technique, both premeditated and unplanned, channels him to find and explore the pleasures and ironies in the mutable and plastic nature of existence. Minter received his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2000 and has ventured into multiple creative fields, mainly as a multi-disciplinary designer. He has received several design awards and exhibited his work in both solo and group shows in and around New York. Erik is currently represented by Rosenbaum Contemporary.
